Dear Jim,
Thank you for doing the serious amount of research that you have done pertaining to Jeff Weeden and Way of an Eagle and Reveal 2. Jeff was once a good friend of mine and I watched in the beginning what was happening with him. I stated to him early on in the mid 90's that he was straying from God's word and the Narrow path. He did not listen then and still to this day I see he is not listening. I have a friend who pastors a church where I live and I saw Jeff's teachings divide that church. What a terrible thing that is to see division in the house of God. I can tell you that Jeff was not always wrong, and when Way of an Eagle first started, it was going in the right direction, but I will tell you that within approximately two years of the start of this new ministry, it quickly went down hill Jeff can captivate an audience because of his charisma and his knowledge of the Word, however I know from personal experience that he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Please keep your findings available on the web for others to see One thing that Jeff use to say all the time was let everything be established with two or three witnesses in the Bible. I would like to see where he gets his witnesses in the Word for his teachings. Also, I thought I would let you know something maybe you already know, but per chance you may not know. One of the driving forces behind Jeff Weeden's ministry is a spirit of control. When he started losing control over certain family members, that is when his ministry started going a different direction, and the deception that goes hand in hand with the controlling spirit has taken over. Let our prayer be that God will open the eyes of the blind being led by the blind, and they can see the truth. There is nothing worse than a deceiver that can get a believer to be a receiver. May God richly bless you for you efforts in exposing the darkness of Way of an Eagle ministry and Reveal 2. A Brother in Christ |
![]() Thank you for your confirmation of what I already felt was true. I received another letter similar to yours from a former Weeden follower. However, they did not want me to post their letter. I think it would be helpful if I could post your letter on the site. As you say, establishment by two or three witnesses. Maybe, if we use your letter, others will come forward. Thanks for your interest in Through the Maze Ministry. If you send me your postal mailing address, I will send you an information pack, a couple of tracts, and a couple of pamphlets. Jim Spencer |
