I'm having a problem with 2 Cor 5:10. It seems like we're being judged for our sins even though we're forgiven--or am I missing something? I keep reading the whole chapter trying to make sense of my question but just can't. I went to bibles.net to get some commentary but it didn't seem to explain what it is I'm questioning.

I don't confess to knowing a lot about this subject. One thing I know is that salvation is a free gift, appropriated through faith. Some people believe there will be "rewards" for those who were especially faithful. I don't know about that. I know you can't build a theology on one verse.

Another verse some people look to in this regard is:
I Cor 2-11-14:
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
